The Commentator: Volume 88 – 2 September 2013
In the sole article for this edition, Amy Jennings, a Graduate at Herbert Smith Freehills (Sydney) looks at AOD-9604: The anti-depressant making Australian sport a very unhappy place and in particular its use by Essendon Football Club, leading to the recent heavy sanctions imposed on the club and officials, including head coach James Hird. In her President’s column, Venetia Stewart reflects on the many sports happenings coming up. She also tells of changes planned for The Commentator over the next few editions and congratulates some ANZSLA members on recent appointments. In my editorial I discuss the changes coming up for The Commentator and report on a recent ANZSLA regional event in Adelaide.
