A webinar addressing issues of racism in sport, with guest speakers, Melody Cooper OLY (Head of Multicultural & Community, Australian Basketball Players Association); Julius Ross (Head of Communications, Professional Footballers' Association); and Paul Vandenbergh (Diversity & Inclusion Talent Manager, Australian Football League). Melody Cooper talks about player welfare and protection; contextual challenges with rising racism in sport; and the importance and benefits of addressing racist behaviours. Julius Ross addresses online racism; global perspectives; and the introduction of the new Bill; and Pauly Vandenberg discusses spectator racism; and current challenges for the AFL.
