Legal Counsel, Legal & Integrity - Cricket Australia

Here’s the deal…

We’re looking for a driven Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Integrity team. We’re looking for a junior-mid level lawyer who has a commercial/ corporate background and strong inter-personal skills.

Reporting to the Head of Legal Services you’ll be responsible for reviewing, negotiating and drafting major agreements affecting Cricket Australia and providing legal advice across the business. You will use your excellent communication skills to partner with the organisation to drive process improvement and commercial solutions.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

·         Providing legal advice to all Cricket Australia departments in relation to the commercial rights framework, major events and competitions, the Australian Cricket Player MOU, major procurement and the Community Cricket and High Performance programs

·         Negotiating, drafting and reviewing agreements across the diverse operations at Cricket Australia

·         Driving process improvement and policy reform by using your project management and collaboration skills
