Join members, guests and distinguished speakers at this year’s ANZSLA NZ Sports Law Symposium. 

Session 1: Global Developments in Sports Integrity: including International Federation initiatives, how WADA is responding to issues/challenges, an update on Russia and other current issues.

  • David Howman – Barrister, Wellington, previously Director of WADA from July 2003 until July 2016, recently appointed as Chair to newly established Athletics Integrity Unit (IAAF).

Afternoon tea break – 15 mins.

Session 2: Commercial: Sponsorship/brand protection, impact of MEMA on Lions Series 2017; GC Commonwealth Games 2018.

  • Keith Binnie – General Counsel, New Zealand Rugby Union, previously Partner at Simpson Grierson
  • Paula Robinson – Partner, Minter Ellison, Gold Coast, currently Head of Legal and Brand Protection in the delivery of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
